Fortunately for them I didn’t die, however unfortunately for them, it happened to me.

Did you know that Peanut Allergy is the most common cause of food related death (AAFA). The Strawberry Slush that Sonic gave me containing the peanut butter could very well have been lethal to anyone with a Peanut Allergy. This is negligence that could have resulted in death.

Today I contacted Manuel Barragan from the New Mexico Environmental Health Dept. to file a complaint against Sonic. They said that they would investigate this immediately and that I would receive a report.

I also received a call from a man named Tom a regional Manager for the Sonic restaurants in this area. He claimed to understand the seriousness of the issue. He also could not understand how the peanut butter could have come in contact with the strawberry’s used in the slush. He promised a full investigation etc., etc., etc.

So far I am receiving a whole lot of “I’ll look into it’s” which is great as long as they do. Of course I fully intend to make sure they do. Since I am disabled and have a doctors do not travel. I have nothing but time to devote to this issue. I can sit on the public sidewalk in front of this Sonic with a very large sign that reads something like they tried to poison me. I can put a 8ft sign on the back of a pick up and park it right across the street. I have no doubt that I can find a lawyer to sue them.

How far am I willing to take this? Let me ask you this: How much is a human life worth?

You all have a great day and I will keep you posted.
